2018 Membership Prospectus

History of the Course

This Arnold Palmer Signature designed, high-desert, championship golf course is home to a PGA Tour Qualifier since 1995. This is the longest standing site in the U.S.A., to date. This beautiful oasis in the desert has lakes on ten of the eighteen holes surrounded by the majestic mountains of the eastern Sierra Nevada. We invite you to experience what has been a secret of the PGA Tour, and a select few, since the beginning.
The Palmer Club will play each 2018 Tournament in two flights. Members must designate the flight they are going to play for the full 2018 season prior to the first tournament they play. The Aviara Flight plays from the Blue Tees (6,637 yds) and Combo tees (6,257 yds). The Bay Hill Flight plays from the White Tees (5,897 yds) and Silver Tees (5,161 yds and you must be 70 years of age or older to play from the Silver Tees).

All players play to the Course Handicap for the tees they are playing based upon their 6-month low index and players from the Combo Tees and Silver Tees have their course handicap adjusted by the USGA Handicap Rule Section 3-5 course rating differential reduction of two strokes and four strokes respectively. Prizes are paid in each flight based upon the number of players in each flight.

In 2018, the Club will stage 10 tournaments, included in the annual dues and two additional fee tournaments (see 2018 Palmer Club Tournament Schedule for details).

Your must have an active 2018 NNGA/GHIN handicap to be a Palmer Club member. Annual Northern Nevada Golf Association Membership and GHIN handicap are included in each form of Palmer Club membership, unless you pay those fees and maintain your handicap through another NNGA or USGA member club.
